Seller Verification: Phone Verified vs ID Verified

UserSell shows badges on ads so buyers know what was checked. “Phone verified” means only the phone number was confirmed. “ID verified” means the seller’s identity was checked with a government ID.

The three seller badges

✔ Phone verified

The seller confirmed their phone number in the UserSell Telegram bot. Their identity is not checked yet.

🪪 ID verified

The seller sent a government ID and a photo with it. UserSell staff reviewed and approved it.

🛡 Ownership verified

The seller put the UserSell code in the page’s bio, so we know the page is theirs.

These badges lower the risk, but they do not replace escrow. Always pay through a safe purchase.

What sellers send for the ID check

  • Full name, exactly as on the ID.
  • Government ID number.
  • A photo of the ID held next to your face.
  • Your USDT payout wallet and its network (TRC20, BEP20 or ERC20). The wallet must be your own.

Sellers send this from My account → Verify identity. They also accept the seller undertaking: the page is theirs, and they will not take it back after the sale.

How the ownership check works

  1. When you post an ad, you get a short code (it starts with “us”).
  2. Put the code in the page’s bio until the ad is approved.
  3. UserSell checks the bio and adds the “Ownership verified” badge. You can remove the code after approval.

Your documents and privacy

  • Documents are kept private. They are never shown on the site or to buyers.
  • Only UserSell staff who review the check can see them.
  • They are used for identity checks, payouts and fraud cases. Read the privacy policy.

Common questions

Do I need the ID check to sell?

You can post ads without it. To receive payouts and get the “ID verified” badge, you need to finish it.

How long does the review take?

Usually a short time. You get a message in the bot when it is approved or if something is missing.

Why was my check not approved?

Common reasons: a blurry photo, a name that does not match the ID, or a wallet in another person’s name. You can send it again.
