Which USDT Network to Choose: TRC20 or BEP20

The same coin can live on many networks. A network is like a road. If you send on the wrong road, your money can be lost for ever. Use only the networks below.

Networks we accept

Coin Network Address starts with
USDT TRON (TRC20) T
USDT BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) 0x
Bitcoin (BTC) Bitcoin bc1

Do not use ERC20, Polygon, Solana, or any other network. We do not accept them.

How to match the address

  1. Look at the first letters of the address.
  2. T… means TRON. In your wallet, choose TRON (TRC20).
  3. 0x… means BNB Smart Chain. In your wallet, choose BNB Smart Chain (BEP20).
  4. bc1… means Bitcoin. Send BTC only. Never send USDT here.

Be careful with 0x addresses

Many networks use addresses that start with 0x. They look the same. Ethereum (ERC20) and Polygon also use 0x. So the address alone is not enough. In your wallet, you must pick BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) yourself.

Before you press send

  • Is the coin right? (USDT or BTC)
  • Is the network right? (TRC20, BEP20 or Bitcoin)
  • Do the first letters of the address match the table?
  • Did you copy the address with the copy button?

If one answer is “no” or “not sure”, stop and ask support.

Fees and speed

TRON and BNB Smart Chain fees are usually low and payments are fast. Bitcoin can be slower. Fees change often. Your wallet shows the real fee before you send.
